Undie Awards Announced
The first annual Underground Records UNDIE AWARDS were announced today. Based on
public voting from the vote link in our webzines from October 1996 thru January 1997. Winners
were as follows:
Best Punk Band: Sex Pistols
Best Rock Band: Groove Krickets(1300 votes)
Best Dance Artist: Jocelyn Enriquez
Best Metal Band: Imagika
Best Radio Station: 103.1 Groove Radio - Los Angeles
Best College Station: 88.5 WRAS - Atlanta
Best Live Music Venue: Masquerade - Atlanta
Best Distributor: Caroline Records
Best Label: Cleopatra Records
Best Place To Party: The Dome - Florentine Gardens - Hollywood
